Great tips Andy. I'm also a summer gardener. What's great about it is that my neighbors yards that look great in the spring are just green in the summer because they only plant what's blooming in the spring. My yard is the blooming envy of the street all summer long, even if I don't plant anything new. The perennial bloomers and summer blooming shrubs always make a show. It's always a challenge to find anything new for summer bloom though. Hydrangea, Hibiscus, and Roses top the very short list. Any other suggestions?
