Sweet Potato Vine is a great go-to trailing plant for hanging baskets or mixed annual containers. Grown for it’s foliage, this annual is available in various shades of green, brown, and black and varying leaf shapes. Though it can get a little wild, sweet potato vine can easily be pruned back. They can tolerate both sun and shade, but they are prone to burn if they go straight from the greenhouse to full, outdoor sun. Instead, ease them out into the sun by leaving the plant exposed to the sun for an increasing amount of time over the course of a couple weeks.
