Light: It will thrive in medium to bright areas, out of direct sunlight.
Water: Only when the soil is dry to the touch, about 1-2 inches down.
Two easy tricks to tell when it needs water:
1. The leaves are drooping, soft, or thin – rather than firm
2. Pick up the pot – if you don’t feel any weight from wet soil, it’s time to water
