Which one are you going to take home?

Here's just a quick list of "car stoppers" that I saw this morning on the way to work.  The blooms are loud and proud on the Forsythia, Magnolias, Rhododendrons, and Azaleas.  I'll link a few photos to help share my excitement for the spring season.

Leonard Messel Magnolia. Lovely soft pink flowers bloom atop the branches of this vigorous shrub. Early Blooming.

Sugar Baby-Forsythia
A very compact selection becomes a beacon of yellow in spring. The goldfinch yellow flowers smother the stems from top to bottom on the show stopping cultivar.

Ann Magnolia. Pleasantly scented reddish-purple flowers emerge from tapered buds. Forms a shrubby mound that has leathery, deep green foliage.

Royal Star Magnolia. Dense, upright shrub becoming rounded with age. Starry white fragrant flowers bloom in early spring.

PJM Rhododendron. Long lasting flowers of lavender pink in spring. Dark mahogany fall color, very hardy.
