All plants need food. The ones we eat, look at & walk on.

Feed your yard and garden; it's hungry and would love for you to adopt a regular dinner schedule.

Feed your yard and garden; it’s hungry and would love for you to adopt a regular dinner schedule.  The thanks you get will be a green lawn, healthy garden plants and big healthy veggies.

There’s never a wrong time to amend your garden soil. Amend=DinnerTime!  If you raise garden fresh veggies you know that turning in compost, manure, coffee grounds, bone meal or garden tone regularly is an easy way to ensure you get a bumper harvest.  Spring and Fall are obvious times to work the soil, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it other times of the year too.

Walk behind drop spreaders (that Sunnyside will loan to you!) make it easy to feed your lawn every couple of weeks.  Consider doing it every third time you mow and see how quickly you are rewarded with lush green turf.

What’s our favorite organic garden fertilizer here at the store?  Chicken Manure!  Chicken Manure fertilizer is very high in nitrogen and also contains a good amount of potassium and phosphorus. The high nitrogen and balanced nutrients is the reason we think chicken manure compost is the best kind of manure to use.
