alchemilla mollis perennial lady's mantle

An extremely hardy and low-maintenance shade perennial features dense clusters of chartreuse flowers above the foliage.  Alchemilla, or Lady’s Mantle is a popluar ground cover for shade and works great on the boulevard, or where other plants can not grow.  My favorite characteristic of this bestseller is how beads of water form on the leaves after a rain.  The leaves dislike water so much they actually form a thin layer of oxygen between the foliage and the water.  Alchemists considered this elevated water to be the purest form of water, hence its botanical name: Alchemilla.
