dicentra gold heart bleeding heart perennial

A truly unique shade specimen that puts a whole new twist on the old-fashioned bleeding heart, ‘Goldheart’ features wonderfully colored chartreuse foliage that bear the same pink heart shaped flowers as a regular bleedingheart.  Becuase its foliage is prone to sunburn it is a good idea to plant this one in deep shade.  The bright foliage and spring color make it a great companion plant to hostas and ferns.
