Penstemon ‘Sweet Joanne’ (Beardtogue)

Attractive glossy green leaves that form a dense clump and feature deep pink buds brone on tall stalks that open to bright lavender pink with white throats and magenta veins.

Attractive glossy green leaves that form a dense clump and feature deep pink buds brone on tall stalks that open to bright lavender pink with white throats and magenta veins.  A particular vigorous and upright variety, ‘Sweet Joanne’ will sometime re-bloom if its flower stalks are removed.  (side note – this variety of Penstemon was developed by Dale Lindgren and named after his wife Joanne.  When a breeder names a plant after his wife you know its a good one!)
