Raywort/Ray Flower: Ligularia dentat ‘Britt-Marie Crawford’
Forms a clump of large, rounded maroon-chocolate leaves. Tall stems appear in midsummer, bearing clusters of bright orange daisy flowers. Work well for the back of the border, or waterside. Slugs can be troublesome. Does best in morning sun in very moist soil. In warm summer regions, best to grow in shade.
