One of the most popular foliage perennials, the ‘Silver Mound’ is known for its ferny, silvery leaves.  It does well in hot, dry areas and requires a clipping back in early to mid-June to keep it attractive all season long.  The ‘Silver Mound’ works well as an edging plant or in a mixed container.
