astrantia abbey road masterwort perennial

An outstanding and unique flowering shade perennial also known as ‘Masterwort,’ this hardy plant features dense florets of dark purple buds that open to attractive pink flowers. The flowers are borne on dark purple stems.  Abbey Road grows 12-16″ tall and makes great specimen plant for the shade garden. (Side note – I have no idea how this perennial is associated with the famous street in London or the Beatles.)
