Green Carpet is especially compact and has darker and glossier leaves than other varieties of pachysandra. This vigorous, spreading, evergreen groundcover grows exceptionally well in the shade and can be planted under pine trees and in areas of shallow tree roots. Once established, it requires little maintenance and will shade out weeds.
