Question:
I heard on the weather, that the next three months will be warm.. into October, how do you think that will affect our perenials?

It’s a good year to become a contentious waterer if you aren’t already. Even established perennials will fizzle in seasons with an abundance of heat. I find myself doing more partial cutbacks early to rid my yard of some of the browning. Signs of stressed out plants include wilting, browning and mildew.
Shrubs and evergreens will be the hardest hit in a hot season and will struggle through the winter if not properly hydrated.
Thank you for your question.
